The Galactic Republic, the main and only major political power in the known galaxy.  It has stood, keeping order, peace and justice in the galaxy, for longer than most can remember.  In these years the Republic has flourished, linking planet to planet, system to system, with interplanetary trade routes.  The economy grew, and as the economy grew, so did the population and size of the Repbulic.  It reached to all corners of the galaxy, swaying new systems to join the Repbulic.  With these new systems, came new sources of income, and scientific development.  It seemed to the citizens of the Galactic Republic that they were on top of the galaxy, and nothing could bring them down,......they were wrong.

     In a fury, the likes of which the galaxy had never seen before, the Sith Empire made is entrance into Republic space.  Without warning they began devasating unprepaired Republic fleet, and conquering Republic worlds.  The Republic did what it could to defend itself, but by the time they could scramble forces to meet the Sith, it was already to late, the Sith now controlled half of the known galaxy, and what battles were fought were one sided devastations of the Republic Fleets.

     Some time has passed since the initial invasion, and both sides have spent the time building up their military forces, and are now primed for all out war.  The galaxy is about to be thrown into chaos, and only you can decide its fate...
